About me
I’m a Senior Data Engineer at Walmart, building large-scale, high-impact data platforms that power investigations, compliance, and intelligence across the enterprise.
I hold a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, where my research focused on human psychological behavior analysis. Over the past 10 years, I’ve specialized in designing and scaling data-intensive systems across streaming, graph, and IoT-driven architectures. My work spans technologies such as Kafka-based real-time pipelines, network-oriented graph databases (Gremlin), and large-scale analytical platforms.
At Walmart, I’ve led the development of multiple internal products for Walmart Investigations, transforming complex behavioral data into actionable insights that support critical business and security decisions. This work has allowed me to operate at the intersection of data engineering, analytics, and applied research—turning raw data into systems that people trust and rely on.
Prior to Walmart, I worked as a Data Engineer/Analyst at AngelList startup Ensemble Energy, where I built real-time streaming solutions for energy and IoT data. I also served as a Data Engineer at Autodesk, analyzing customer behavior at scale to uncover patterns and deliver data-driven product and service recommendations.
Beyond industry, I’m deeply engaged in research and innovation. I’ve published nine research papers and won three international hackathons, experiences that reflect my passion for solving hard problems and pushing the boundaries of applied data engineering.
Looking ahead, my goal is to evolve into an end-to-end platform engineer—owning systems from data ingestion to decision-making layers—while continuing to tackle complex business challenges and build scalable, impactful technology solutions.

First place of a Makeathon conducted by Valeo - Building an AI-enabled cooling technology for high-frequency voltage converter (58V to 42V).

First place of a hackathon conducted by ACM and Mozilla - An automated smart security system which recognizes the known people and also criminals. Autonomous criminal tracking was also done and suitable alerts were sent to the police.

Won Rs 20K at Hackhub - 24 hours hackathon conducted by IEEE Computer Society - Predicting the damage level of the buildings after the Earthquake using CNN with residual blocks. Suitable mobile app and mail alerts to police, ambulance and fire service were done.

What I Do
CLOUD
Cloud environment to develop the real-time working systems. Got Experience working on AWS (Amazon Web Services) and GCS (Google Cloud Services). My work on the cloud points towards a modern architecture with microservices and serverless systems.
MACHINE LEARNING
Following the lectures of one of the most insightful persons in the field, Mr. Andrew NG, has given me a lot of intuitions about the machine learning and its applications. ML enables some of the usecases which were considered to be never possible, some of my projects will themselves stand as examples for the same.
INTERPERSONAL SKILLS
My love for meeting new people and learning from them have made me an enthusiastic active listener. This greatly adds to my team player skills as it helped me in understanding the different people’s perceptives. Understanding and acting based on everyone’s perceptive makes me a good leader and a teacher.
